The
Immersion style heater is available in both 240V
or 120V (regular household current) models. The
120V is only for portable baptistries up to 150
gallons. The 240V model has 4 times the heating
capacity of the 120V, and will heat 600 gallons.

120 V or 240V - Single Phase
This portable immersion heater is
our most economical. The heater is
mounted over the side of the
baptistery with a stainless steel
bracket (provided). Simply plug the
pigtail cord into the 120V or 240
volt outlet, and set the thermostat
to the desired temperature.

The 240V Heater
will heat 60 gallons per hour (gph)
to a 40 degree rise. A 750 -
1000 gallon tank will heat in 13
- 18 hours.
The 120V Heater will heat 15 GPH
to a 30° rise. Power is reduced
to 1.5 KW.
Due to heat loss into the air,
you should allow 24-36 hours to
heat 100 gallons with the 120V
heater.
A
Baptistry Cover is
recommended for heating to keep
heat from escaping into the
room.
If you order the model without a
GFCI built in, then a GFCI breaker
is recommended -

designed for SMALL baptistries
(under 150 gallons) such as the
Portable Baptistry. For larger
baptistries use the 240V Immersion
Heater or more than one of the 120V
heaters.
